A UK-wide celebration of Spanish food and Estrella Galicia, the leading premium Spanish beer brand.
In 2015 Estrella Galicia, became the Official Beer partner of London Restaurant Festival. One of the event series we create for them during this festival includes chef-hosted tasting menus and tapas tours. The latter is a fun, informal, meandering lunch where guests get to visit five tapas restaurants and have a small plate and Estrella Galicia beer in each.
As these experiences were so successful, Estrella Galicia could see the benefits of getting their beer into the hands of consumers while creating new restaurant contacts who could list their product. Gastronomous was asked to create a programme that the Estrella Galicia brand could ‘own’ UK-wide.
The result?
In September 2021, the first Estrella Galicia Gastronomy Month festival took place in 50 leading Spanish restaurants across the UK, celebrating the fantastic variety of inspiring Spanish food paired with Estrella Galicia beers.
Now in its third year, the annual festival has expanded to involve 100 restaurants across the UK and Ireland throughout the month of May. This year’s festival saw 22 small-scale, ticketed, exclusive experiences take place throughout the month including beer and food pairing masterclasses, chef-hosted dinners and Tapas Tours.
The ‘Beer & Bite’ series also saw over 100 restaurants, bars, and bodegas across the UK and Ireland offering a delicious tapas paired with an Estrella Galicia beer for the entirety of May – showcasing how Estrella Galicia pairs with a wide variety of dishes.
In addition to Estrella Galicia Gastronomy Month, we also manage 7 chef ambassadors from across the UK and Ireland to host events, create recipes and generate video content for Estrella Galicia throughout the year. Chefs involved include Nieves Barragán from Sabor, Monika Linton from Brindisa and Roberto Rapisardi from Hellfire.
