Gastronomous owns and manages London’s most successful annual restaurant festival.
Founded in 2009, London Restaurant Festival is a month-long consumer-facing citywide celebration of the capital’s vibrant restaurant scene. The festival takes place across London annually, every June and October, and involves over 150 of the capital’s most exciting restaurants, showcasing the diversity of London’s culinary scene. Some 50,000 people take part in either ticketed restaurant experiences or the Resy Hit List – available exclusively on Resy, granting guests access to special menus.
Gastronomous manage LRF end-to-end creating over 120 memorable ticketed experiences that are a fantastic way for our customers to try out lots of restaurants, drinks and new areas of London in a fun and engaging way. These include: Gourmet Odysseys, Restaurant Hopping-Tours, Ultimate Gastronomic Weekends, Tasting Menus, Masterclasses and more. In 2023, we also launched Food Fest at Pop Brixton, an epic kick-off event to open LRF Summer full of sumptuous street food, summer cocktails and top DJs.
There are also myriad benefits for the many Gastronomous clients who sponsor the festival. American Express, the headline sponsor since 2010 and confirmed until 2024, get exclusive presale on tickets so Cardmembers get early access, meaning 85% of ticket holders are Amex Cardmembers.
Drinks brands (such as Champagne Drappier, Casamigos and Estrella Galicia) – get their products in the hands of valuable consumers as well as the restaurant trade. While landlords (including St James’s, Regent Street and Carnaby) – get the light shone on their assets, as we host experiences on their patch.
It was the success of London Restaurant Festival that served as the catalyst for starting the Gastronomous agency in 2015.
