From 3pm: Arrival in Rome and check in Rome Cavalieri, a Waldorf Astoria Hotel

– Check in to your elegant King Imperial Room with Rome View, enjoying unparalleled views of the city from your private balcony and have time to explore the hotel’s luxurious facilities.

– Your room entitles you to access to the Imperial Club, hosted on a private floor, offering complimentary food and alcohol throughout the day and evening. Do take the opportunity to explore once you have checked in.

7pm: Welcome Reception

– Get ready for the evening and join us for an aperitif and welcome to the trip on the hotel’s stunning Tiepolo Terrace.

8pm: Dinner at La Pergola

– Dinner is a seven-course Tasting Menu with paired wine at three Michelin-starred La Pergola (Rome’s only three Michelin-starred restaurant), located upstairs on the top-floor of the hotel.

– Please note, the restaurant has a formal dress code. Gentlemen are required to wear long trousers and a jacket (ties are not necessary). There are no specific requirements for women, but do keep in mind that the restaurant is quite formal.


7.30am – 9.30am: Breakfast

– Enjoy breakfast at leisure in the hotel, either in the main Uliveto Restaurant (Ground Floor) or, should you wish, a lighter breakfast at the Imperial Club.

9.45am: Atelier Tour

– Meet the group in the hotel reception to transfer into the city for a private tour of two local Roman ateliers.

– Firstly, discover acclaimed leather artisans Puntopelle, whose global clientele include big Hollywood names and international royals.

– Followed by a visit to Andre Laug, the renowned Rome haut-couturier whose clients over the decades have included Jacqueline Kennedy and Audrey Hepburn.

11.45am: Italian Cookery Class

– Transfer to Rimessa Roscioli for an Italian cooking class where you will learn to cook classic Roman dishes such as Cacio e Pepe and Carbonara

– Then sit down to enjoy your creations for lunch, paired with wine.

From 3pm: Time at leisure

– Transfers will be provided directly from the cooking class back to the hotel at 3pm, should you wish to head back and relax.

– Alternatively, explore the city further and make your own way back to the hotel later in the afternoon.

– Should you wish to, you can also meet the group directly at All’Oro for dinner at 7.45pm – if this is your intention, please let one of your hosts know.

7.30pm: Depart for dinner at All’Oro

– Meet the group in the hotel reception area and depart for dinner at Michelin-starred All’Oro, where you will experience their six-course Tasting Menu paired with wine.

10.15pm: Return to the hotel


7.30am – 9.30am: Breakfast and Check out

– Enjoy breakfast at leisure in the hotel, either in the main Uliveto Restaurant (Ground Floor) or, should you wish, a lighter breakfast at the Imperial Club.

9.30am. Check out of your room and leave your luggage with concierge or on the bus, should you wish to depart straight from the restaurant.

9.45am: Tour of the Vatican Museums

– Meet the group in the reception area and depart for a private guided tour of the magnificent Vatican Museums and St Peter’s Basilica.

– Please note, all guests are required to wear modest clothing that covers the shoulders and knees, does not expose the midriff and is not low-cut. Scarves can be used. Shirts are recommended for men, but t-shirts are accepted so long as they do not contain offensive images or slogans.

– Please leave any bags larger than 40cm x 35cm x 15cm with your luggage on the bus or in the cloakroom.

1.30pm: Lunch at Traiano

– Depart for Traiano restaurant, for an exclusive wine tasting in their secret vaulted cellar, followed by a four-course lunch paired with wine.

– Traiano is Rome’s hottest newly opened restaurant and is located in the heart of Ancient Rome with mesmerising views over the ruins of the Trajan’s Market.

3.30pm: Depart at leisure

– Depart directly from the restaurant or return to the hotel to collect your luggage and depart at leisure.
