Unforgettable gastronomic mini breaks staying at key Hilton properties across Europe.
In 2021, our clients (Hilton Honors and American Express) approached us to create a program of events to incentivise Amex Premium Cardmembers to visit Hilton properties and sign up to Hilton Honors. In addition to fostering loyalty, they also wanted to drive card-spend and incremental room nights, as well as showcase Hilton’s excellent F&B credentials to create an unforgettable gastronomic experience.
So, in 2022, the Savour the City program was created by the Gastronomous team. The first year of the program saw three fantastic weekend-long trips to Berlin, Amsterdam and Istanbul, each marketed to, and attended by, either American Express Platinum or Centurion Cardmembers. Each weekend, hosted by the Gastronomous team, included a stay at a luxurious Hilton property, fine dining at the city’s best restaurants, and the opportunity to discover each capital’s distinct culture and history.
Following the success and popularity of the initial events, the program will expand in 2023 to six more exciting cities, including Rome, Budapest, Lisbon and Valletta. We have also designed and launched Cardmember-specific websites exclusively for the Savour the City program which host all of the trips on offer, as well as exclusive content including city guides and tips on the hottest new openings in these cities.
